]]>We're happy to report that fulfillment of Bullet★ is almost complete!
Last month, we had an issue where several pallets of the game had gone missing. We've since made arrangements to cover this loss, but it did delay the shipment of all orders to Canada, as well as all orders which contained Bullet♥︎.
Those arrangements have finally come through, and we're excited to report that your copies of Bullet (in all symbol varieties) are on the way in both Canada and the USA.
We hope that you are having a great time with Bullet (or will be soon, anyways :D)!
We would love to hear about your experience. If you share your words about Bullet and a picture of your game group, you can get $25 off your next purchase from us through the Level 99 Experience program.
And if there's anything wrong with your copy, please reach out to us so that we can do everything possible to make your experience perfect!
Thanks so much for your patience and support on this exciting project! What would you like to see next from Bullet? We have some surprises in store for you before the end of the year, so look out! :D
]]>Bullet⭐'s Launch 99 campaign just ended but that doesn't mean the fun train has to stop! Here's some Bullet⭐ wallpapers, avatars, and more so that it can always be Bullet Time! :)
Greetings friends,
It's been a long month, but it's time for Bullet Orange!
Bullet Orange will begin dispatching to the EU, UK, Asia, and Australia very soon. If you are in one of these regions, please look out for a shipping notice soon!
Orders in USA/Canada are further delayed for the moment. For more information, see below.
USA/Canada Delivery Delay
Bullet Orange was scheduled to deliver this month, but there have been delays that have affected the USA and Canada. After arriving at port, the games were scheduled to move by rail to their final destination during late June.
Unfortunately, a shortage of rail cars has kept them in place. The word from the front has been "next week" for about four weeks now. :(
This means that Bullet Orange is still not in place to ship to fans in the USA and Canada. Unfortunately, there has not been any indication of how soon this gridlock will be broken.
Please be on the lookout for news soon, and thank you for your patience with this situation.
]]>Here's the news on Bullet♥︎!
This will be the last weekly update for a while, so please take a moment to check it out and to read our thoughts on the project, and leave us yours.
There's still a little bit more to do, but we won't be filling up your inbox every Friday going forward. ^_^
We've got Canadian Pledges fulfilled now, completing the bulk of fulfillment for Bullet♥︎! There are about 9 or 10 pledges in Canada and a few more in the USA that we're untangling, and we also have a number of Prototype pledges still to resolve. Those are in the process of being worked out.
We've updated a few expectations to account for our estimates of the delivery of shortfall items.
But TL;DR: the bulk of the project is now complete! Hurray!
There are a few known late items (we should have emailed you already about these). If you haven't heard from us and you are still waiting on your package anywhere outside of Canada and Asia (and not one of the foreign language editions ES, CN, or JP), now is the time to send us a ticket so that we can follow up.
If you're waiting on Deluxe Bullet Tokens or Adelheid's heroine board, I'm happy to inform you that we've received extra supplies from our printer, and those are now going out. Please give us another week or two to sort and ship all these out.
Thanks so much to everyone who pre-ordered Bullet Orange via the Launch 99 Program! You should have already received an email with more information about that.
If you're late to the party, you can still pre-order Bullet Orange, with the note that:
1) You will no longer receive the Launch 99 bonus (a steam download code for Acceleration of Suguri 2).
2) Items will ship from our USA Warehouse rather than a local fulfillment center in your country (but if you're in the USA, that's the same thing!).
3) You can add on items from the rest of our catalog, and things will ship together once Bullet Orange is in stock.
Our Chinese Language Editions are on the way to us. We expect to ship those orders as soon as they arrive.
The Spanish Language Edition is in pre-production right now. We've passed on backer data to Melmac Games so they can fulfill these pledges once they are ready.
The Japanese-language editions are in production and Asobition will be shipping them out to backers as soon as they're ready.
Since we're done with the bulk of fulfillment, I'm going to stop posting weekly updates, and instead keep in contact as-needed to share announcements about the project and the future of Bullet.
I hope that it's been a fun project for you and that you're happy with the results of your pledge! If you have any feedback or comments for us, ideas to improve, or just want to share some warm wishes, please feel free to share them via DM or our service contact form.
As we reach the end of the project, it's useful to take a few minutes and talk about the lessons we learned.
In Bullet♥︎, we experimented with a new style of project. Lighter, simpler (from a production standpoint), and faster to deliver. On the whole, the project was a big success. Delivery began on time (but was still delayed a bit by COVID port congestion), and fulfillment was largely painless.
We did encounter a few pain points with fulfillment of add-on items. It may still take us a few months to clean up the debris of missing add-ons in the far corners of the world. We also had inventory issues with a few add-ons that sold faster during 2020 than we expected, and embarrassingly became oversold between when Bullet launched and when it delivered.
For Sakura Arms, Empyreal, and other projects going forward, we've resolved ourselves to make everything in one factory, so that we can be assured that it all reaches the same place at the same time, and there's no risk of selling anything that's not guaranteed to be in stock.
We also encountered difficulty with small items and multiple versions of items. Our fulfillment partners had some difficulty parsing which boxes came with deluxe tokens, deluxe tokens and posters, posters only without deluxe tokens, or neither. In most cases, we ended up giving out "upgrades" to the version with tokens or with the poster (or we had to ship posters across the world at high expense).
Going forward, we're keeping the projects simple and eliminating variants to improve the ease of delivery. If there's a set of Deluxe Tokens or a Poster, those items will come in their own boxes with their own individual SKU codes.
Despite these small setbacks, we felt that Bullet♥︎ was a big success for our development and delivery teams. Doing a medium-sized game and delivering on time has been a much more effective strategy that doing tons of stretch goals and delivering a year and a half late. Who would have thought?
One big success of Bullet♥︎ was in pre-Kickstarter development. Having the game finished and the art complete before we started the KS project contributed greatly to its success. Moving forward, our goal is to be ahead of the curve on future projects in the same way.
We look forward to putting these lessons into practice to deliver our upcoming projects—Sakura Arms, Bullet Orange, and Empyreal—on time and on budget.
If you're happy with Bullet♥︎, we would love to share Empyreal: Spells & Steam with you. Empyreal has all the luxury of a deluxe game while still being lightweight and accessible to players of all skill levels. I hope that you'll check it out when you get a chance!
I wish you a great weekend and, as always, Happy Gaming!
- Brad
]]>Here's our weekly update on the fulfillment status of Bullet♥︎!
We're just about finished up with Bullet♥︎! Our only major remaining zone to fulfill is Canada, and we hope to have that shipped out in the next 2 weeks.
We are currently in the process of addressing shortfall items and replacing missing parts. If you submitted a ticket or are missing items, hopefully you've already heard from our team about any missing games or replacement parts.
If you are missing something and you haven't heard from us yet (and you're not in Canada), then you can send us a ticket and we'll start hunting down your pledge. Please give us 1-2 weeks to address new incoming tickets.
Bullet Orange
This is the last weekend to pre-order Bullet🍊 (Orange) with an international shipping discount. Next week, we're going to initiate ocean freight to get the games on the water and over to you, so we'll have to start charging shipping rates from the USA.
Get Bullet🍊 here: https://www.level99store.com/pages/bullet-orange
Chinese Language Editions
Our Chinese Language Editions are on the way to us. We expect to ship those orders as soon as they arrive, in the next few weeks.
Spanish Language Editions
We are still waiting on some news from Melmac Games on these. Last we heard, they were in the process of being produced.
Japanese Language Editions
The Japanese-language editions are in production and Asobition will be shipping them out to backers as soon as they're ready.
]]>We're just about finished up with the fulfillment of Bullet♥︎.
Here's the most current status on zones around the world.
First, I have some general news to share about goings-on at Level 99 Games:
Empyreal: Far Corners is now live on Kickstarter. This project is for a reprint of Empyreal: Spells & Steam, along with some new content. I hope that you'll join us for the new project!
Bullet 🍊 (Bullet: Orange) is now available in our online store. If you're outside of the USA, our Launch 99 Program offers an opportunity to get this game at a cheaper shipping rate than buying from the USA. We're offering this until April 20th.
We are now shipping out BlazBlue Exceed from our online store. If you order the new season of Exceed today, you can be playing as early as next week!
If you're in Europe, you should have a tracking number from Fulfillment Europe now.
We already know about a few missing games and add-ons, so don't worry if you don't have tracking yet we'll email you directly to confirm the situation next week.
Our Asia situation is much the same as last week. Games are on the way to hub fulfillment centers in countries outside of the mainland.
We have gotten our Canadian customs registration back, and now we're ready to ship Bullet♥︎ to Canada! Pickup is scheduled for next week. We'll keep you posted in this space.
Do not contact us just yet—we will contact you soon. We're still resolving some shortfalls, and we plan to reach out directly to affected backers within the next 1-2 weeks. We will send out a call in mid-April and ask you to file a ticket if you haven't heard from us yet.
If you receive a damaged game or need replacement components, please go ahead and send a ticket. We are working through a large backlog of tickets, but we hope to have all the missing and replacement parts for Bullet out by the end of April.
--------
Melmac is still in the pre-press stages of delivering their edition, so Spanish-language copies are a few months out. We've transferred your pledges to Melmac Games, so they will keep you up to date via email. You can also continue to check these updates for news. Non-Bullet♥︎ add-ons will still come directly from Level 99 Games.
Asobition is finishing up production of their edition, so delivery should begin in the next few months. We've already transferred your pledge information to Asobition, so they will keep you up to date via email. You can also continue to check these updates for news. Non-Bullet♥︎ add-ons will still come directly from Level 99 Games.
Banana Games has already finished printing and distributing the Chinese-language edition of Bullet♥︎. If you are in the USA or another zone and are waiting on a Chinese edition, we are arranging this now. Please wait just a few more weeks for updates. Non-Bullet♥︎ add-ons will still come directly from Level 99 Games.

Earlier this week, I jumped the gun and reported a few zones complete which weren't wholly finished. Honest mistake. Here's the most current status on zones around the world.
We had an issue where about 150 EU backers hadn't had their games shipped out yet, and instead only got their add-ons shipped by Spiral Galaxy. Those are being resolved now, and you should see a tracking number from Fulfillment Europe very soon.
VFI Asia had finished shipping out the Chinese copies, but they use hubs around the continent that had not yet sent out games. So to explain, VFI sends 20 games to another fulfillment center in Malaysia, then those games get dispatched from within Malaysia to individual backers.
So here are the timelines for greater Asia.
Malaysia ETA 4/21
Japan ETA 4/15
Taiwan ETA 4/15
Singapore ETA 4/28
Philippines ETA 4/30
Thailand ETA 5/5
Indonesia ETA 5/20
Once things arrive at the hubs, we expect delivery within 7 days or so.
I'm still not sure why these dates are so far out, given that we shared addresses with them right after Chinese New Year. It's likely that there were a large backlog of Kickstarters waiting to ship in early March, and we weren't informed of the delay.
But the important takeaway is that things are in motion—not lost nor forgotten.
We still haven't heard from Canadian customs. I'm optimistic that we'll be able to get these games back in motion next week though. Please watch this space for updates.
It's been a difficult year and we can all use a little positivity. If you're enjoying Bullet♥︎, we humbly ask you to leave us a rating on BoardGameGeek

Next week, we are launching our next big project: Empyreal Far Corners.
This project is a reprint of Empyreal: Spells & Steam, as well as a new expansion. As you may know, Empyreal launched worldwide in 2020 and then sold out before the end of the year. We're running a second project to offer this premium game to everyone who missed out the first time around, as well as to create some new goodies for fans who backed the first printing.
You can preview the Kickstarter Page here, and let us know what you think!
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/level99games/empyreal-far-corners
I hope to see you there on Tuesday! :)
]]>I hope that most of you around the world are now enjoying your copies of Bullet♥︎! Canada and the UK remain our last major zones to ship out, and things are in motion to begin those soon.
We had a lot of great ideas for Orange even back during Heart. In the past, we've often offered expansions during a Kickstarter Project, and this has led to sometimes years-long delays.
This time we decided to try something different—deliver the base game quickly and do a separate launch for the expansion. I hope that you'll support the continuing development of Bullet by picking up a copy of Orange next Tuesday!
We're just about finished up with Bullet, but we still have some cool content to share with you over the next few weeks, and we'll continue to make updates until the bulk of fulfillment and replacement parts are in stock.
In the meantime, if you're looking for a community to talk about Bullet, we encourage you to join our Discord (https://discord.gg/3GyVdTM) to chat with fellow gamers, or go to BoardGameGeek and leave your rating. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/307305/bullet/ratings?rated=1&pageid=1

We are currently in the process of routing games to Interfulfillment Canada. It's taken us a little longer than expected to get registered for Canadian customs, but we hope to have our games delivered to Canada next week and then shipped by the second week of April.
Europe fulfillment is complete!
However, some add-ons are still coming from the UK, see below.
For add-ons like sleeves, other L99 games, and the like, we have these items stocked in the UK. Those items should be going out next week.
UK fulfillment will begin at the start of next week.

]]>Greetings everyone!
With Bullet♥︎ delivered in most places, we're excited to announce that our first expansion—which is already in production!
Bullet🍊is a new expansion for Bullet♥︎. Bullet🍊 brings 4 new heroines to the game, and represents the first tabletop appearance of famous characters from the Orange Juice franchise, with characters from top-rated Orange Juice titles Sora, Flying Red Barrel, SUGURI, and QP Shooting all making appearances in the new game.
We'll begin accepting pre-orders for Bullet🍊 this time next week, so please look out for an announcement in this space when it happens. While the game isn't going to Kickstarter, we are arranging friendly international shipping for our fans in Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, and Asia through our new Launch 99 Program.
If you haven't received your package yet, please DON'T PANIC. We are still very much in the midst of fulfillment, and there is still much to do. Once we've resolved everything and completed the bulk of fulfillment, we'll put out a call for anyone still waiting on a game to reach out to us.
Again, please DO NOT reach out to us to ask about the status of your game yet—let us complete the project first.
I hope to post a follow up early next week to let you know how things are going, once I've heard back from fulfillment centers around the world.
]]>Many volunteers playtested Bullet♥︎, and we included their names in the playtesters section of the rulebook. One of these included individuals, JR Honeycutt, has been responsible for a history of abusive behavior which was made public after his participation in the game's playtesting.
Abuse is vile and wrong. JR's actions deeply harmed many people, and those scars will never fully heal.
We have not worked with this individual since his deplorable actions were made public in 2019, and we will never work with him in the future. We have always been clear about our values as a company and we stand against abusers, who have no place in board gaming or any other industry or hobby.
Before now, it's been the policy of Level 99 Games to report all of the individuals who participated in a game's creation in the credits. When reviewing the rulebook, our team followed this policy without considering its implications and how this decision might harm the victims of abuse.
In hindsight, it's clear that this policy is incompatible with our values. Our goal is to provide a safe and inclusive space with our games, and this decision went directly against that goal.
The first thing that's in order is an apology. We deeply regret this inclusion, and we apologize to the victims of JR's abuse who have been hurt further by our thoughtless action. JR's name will be removed from all future printings of Bullet♥︎, and has already been removed from the digital editions of the rulebook.
Because words alone are not enough, we are also donating a portion of the sales of Bullet♥︎ to RAINN (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network). You can join us in supporting survivors of abuse and preventing sexual violence here: https://www.rainn.org/
Finally, we will review this and all our similar policies, updating them to reflect our company values and our moral responsibility to our fans and to the hobby.
-----
Thank you as always for your support of Level 99 Games. We are listening to you and we are always working to do better for you.
]]>Here's a full accounting of the shipping for Bullet♥︎!
From here on out, I'll post updates each week until Fulfillment is complete.
If you do not receive a tracking number or you are missing any add-ons, please DO NOT contact us just yet. Some items may be shipping from different locations, and some items may be delayed slightly. Once we complete the bulk of project fulfillment, we will send out a call for any missing items.
We don't expect many shipping damages for a game of this size, and there are no known errata for Bullet at this time.
If you receive a damaged game or need replacement components, please go ahead and send a ticket. HOWEVER, note that we have not received our replacement parts yet, so these tickets cannot be addressed until the project fulfillment is complete.
Australia fulfillment is in-progress! There were a few shortfalls for add-ons which we are addressing now.
Asia fulfillment is in-progress! There were a few shortfalls for add-ons which we are addressing now.
We've just received our games at port. Those should be arriving at our fulfillment center early next week. We have to split the games between the USA Backers, Canadian Backers, and USA Distribution. Once we've done that, fulfillment can begin.
We've already imported all addresses and pre-paid our shipping fees, so you could begin to see tracking emails as early as next week in America.
Games in the USA will be split once they arrive at our fulfillment center in New Jersey (see above). From there, we expect just a few days for products to reach Interfulfillment in Canada.
After this, everything should be dispatching from Canada quickly. I estimate fulfillment by the middle of March.
Our games in Europe are supposed to arrive today. We're waiting on confirmation that the vessel has docked. Once we have that confirmation, we should begin shipping within the next week or so.
For add-ons like sleeves, other L99 games, and the like, we have these items stocked in the UK.
We have already set things in motion to ship these from the UK to you in Europe duties-paid, so you shouldn't have to deal with any customs. Please look out for a tracking number from Spiral Galaxy Games soon!
Our understanding now is that games have arrived at port, but we're still waiting on things to unload and reach Spiral Galaxy Games. They're already preparing a fulfillment estimate for us, so once that's done, we should be sending out pledges fairly soon.
]]>Greetings everyone, I have news on shipping around the world! Here's a quick look at where we are and where we hope to be by the end of the month.
We have seen pushback on our ocean freight arrivals around the world recently, so some of our dates have slipped a little bit. No worries—we're keeping tabs on things and will keep you posted in this space as new developments arise.
Right now it is a little difficult to get feedback, since any freight company with ties to China has their offices closed for Chinese New Year. I expect that we will have a much clearer picture of things within the next week or so.
Our shipment of Bullet♥︎ should now arrive in New York port on the 3rd of March (apparently there was a long delay during the ship's stop in Korea).
We hope to have games moving into the fulfillment center that same week so long as we don't see any customs delays. From there, we will begin shipping and you should have games in the USA by the middle of March.
We will also be dispatching goods to Interfulfillment in Canada, so Canadian dispatch should happen shortly after. We don't have an exact timeline for how long it will take to reach Canada from New Jersey, but my instinct is that it won't be more than 2 additional weeks, if that.
We are scheduled to reach Hamburg port on March 2nd. Non-Bullet add-on items for EU pledges will ship separately from the UK, and may arrive a little bit earlier. We're working with Spiral Galaxy Games to ship those out before the arrival of Bullet♥︎.
I haven't heard that the February 22nd arrival in the UK has changed. HOWEVER, since everywhere else is delayed, that likely means we just haven't heard about the delays yet, not that they haven't happened.
Our partners in Asia picked up their games before Chinese New Year, but due to the imminent holiday they were not shipped yet. Shipping should begin shortly after Chinese New Year Ends.
We have heard that Melbourne port went into lockdown last week, and may be locked down for another week. We were supposed to have made port, but there's no word just yet. We are trying to contact the freight companies to see what's up.
The Chinese Edition of Bullet has been produced by Banana Games and shipped to backers in Asia. If you are waiting on a Chinese Edition and haven't received your copy yet, please reach out to us!
The Japanese Edition of Bullet is being produced and shipped by Asobition. Production will begin shortly after the Chinese New Year. Once we have confirmation that production has begun, we will have a more accurate date for delivery.
The Korean Edition of Bullet has been produced by Delight and shipped to backers in Asia. If you are waiting on a Korean Edition and haven't received your copy yet, please reach out to us!
We are currently checking in on the Spanish-language production. I'll post an update on this with the next update.
-------
While you wait on Bullet♥︎ (and since many of us are still in lockdown anyway), you can play online for free on Tabletopia or Tabletop Simulator. You can also find lots of ready opponents in our Discord community!
Finally, don't forget that the complete soundtrack is now available on Spotify and Bandcamp, with a secret bonus track for those who purchase the Bandcamp album!
I look forward to posting news on arrivals soon!
]]>The Bullet♥︎ Original Soundtrack, crafted by the talented PlasterBrain, is now available everywhere fine music can be downloaded! Check it out now by following the link above and scrolling down, or search for "Level 99 Games" on Spotify.
Bullet♥︎ will be shipping near the end of this month! If you haven't yet, make sure to secure your copy of the Limited-quantity Deluxe Edition while supplies last!
Greetings friends!
I'm excited to share the latest update on delivering Bullet to you!
Right now, most of our games are on boats heading around the world. We have confirmed ocean freight booking for all destinations, and estimated delivery at fulfillment centers here:
Please keep in mind that these dates are still ESTIMATES. Especially in Europe and UK, we may still see some delays due to Brexit-related congestion at ports and customs houses.
For Asia, we're already on to Fulfillment! Today, we've just sent out fulfillment data to VFI, our partner in Asia, and they will be taking things from here. They have not given us an expected start date, but we do know that they have picked up all the games and will likely be shipping before Chinese New Year begins.
If you pledged for a Chinese or Japanese edition of Bullet, those pledges will be fulfilled by Banana Games and Asobition respectively, our licensors for those editions. We will notify you of tracking via BackerKit, but you may also receive a confirmation from these shippers, so please look out for that. If you did the above AND are getting any Level 99 Games add-ons, those should come separately from VFI, so look out for two packages.
